So you are now settled into the pattern of motherhood. Hopefully your child is sleeping a lot less during the day and more through the night. So there is time on hand – how to use that time? I have tried to build a list around play ideas starting from 6 months onwards. These play activities will help your child achieve their milestones also –

1) My pick on Peek a Boo play

Vtech Peek A Boo Garden

VTech’s Peek a Boo Garden is for toddlers 9m+. The toy encourages creative play and use of motor skills. It will help your toddler learn numbers and ABC’s. I like this toy, as it keeps my daughter involved for hours.

2) My pick for Imitation play

Little Tikes Discover Sounds Camera

Does your kid run towards the camera, the moment you start clicking their pictures? If yes, Little Tikes Discover Sound Camera is for you. It has buttons, light and sounds that will fascinate your little one completely. It enhances their imagination and motor skills.

3) My pick on toys that help with crawling

Chicco Spring Roller

If your toddler needs a crawling companion, then Chicco’s Spring Roller is the toy for them. This spring roller is motion activated. As your kid rolls it, the music starts playing. It encourages them to get the toy rolling.

4) My pick on walking toy

Playskool Step Start Walk N Ride

Is your toddler ready to explore the house? It is a wonderful sight, to watch your toddler walk with Playskool Step Start Walk and Ride. The walker helps your child to develop their gross motor skills. This toy helps your little one have an amazing walking experience.

5) My pick of a toy that helps learn cause and effect

Playskool Busy Poppin Pals

My daughter loves playing with Playschool’s Busy Poppin Pals. It introduced her to animals, shapes and helps her to understand cause and effect relationship. A toy that packs in both learning and fun.
