I hear the recent toy exhibition held earlier this month in July was a success. Journalist Henna Rakheja has written an article about the exhibition.
Henna begins an article on a philosophical note. She is not far from wrong when she says that its not just just kids but adults too who learn from toys.
So the prices of the toys there ranged from Rs 50 to Rs 1.20 lakh. The costliest toy was the Knight Hauler (that's a truck by the way!), a creation of Tamiya, the Japanese company.
Some of the manufacturers had also showcased green toys. (like every car manufacturer does at the auto expo!) We don't see a lot of green toys being sold or marketed, do we?!
And expectedly, the Indian toy manufacturers expressed their view on competition from the Chinese players..
