PEOPLE WHO SAW THIS, ALSO SAW ...
By Professor M. Rathi (Delhi,IN)
This book stands out thanks to its colorful illustrations and sounds that my little granddaughter absolutely loves. It’s fun to read as she is learning all about book basics, colors, shapes, animals and first words. But where it fails is it does not provide one of the most important features of a storybook. I mean word sight recognition, as the words are not in front of you directly when you are reading in the traditional sense of the term ‘reading’. It does incorporate a sense of time and sequence though by teaching daily routines. It can be used as a night-light and also plays lullabies which make it a high utility toy.
